A few volunteers are needed to support this event! Please see roles below. If you have a strong preference, please make a note of it in your volunteer registration:

1. Welcome & Guest Greeting (2 Volunteers)

Welcome attendees as they arrive, provide directions, and help create a warm and inviting atmosphere for the event.

2. Guest Check-In & Registration (2 Volunteers)

Assist with attendee check-in on Luma application, verify registrations, and help guests navigate the registration process smoothly.

3. Food & Beverage Support (3 Volunteers)

Help set up food and beverages before the event, keep the refreshment area organized and stocked throughout the evening, and assist with cleanup afterward.

November 6, 2026 11:30am - 1pm PST (includes rehearsal)

Roundtable Facilitator: Facilitators lead small-group breakout discussions on a relevant industry topic (EV & charging), encouraging participants to share insights, experiences, and perspectives. They prepare guiding questions, keep the conversation engaging and on track, and ensure everyone has an opportunity to contribute rather than delivering a presentation.

Requires experience in the EV and charging industry, along with prior speaking or facilitation experience. Must be available for a 30-minute training, with the time to be coordinated separately. A reliable internet connection is essential.

Responsibilities: 

1. Suggest breakout room discussion topics related to the roundtable theme of EVs and charging. Applications without proposed topics will not be considered.

2. Provide a brief description of your expertise and how it relates to the roundtable theme of EVs and charging.

3. Share any previous experience you have as a facilitator, speaker, or moderator.

Breakout Room Volunteer responsibilities:

1. Ensure the room remains active and engaged.

2. Ensure the facilitator allows all participants to speak equally.

3. Be prepared to step in if the facilitator experiences technical issues, and engage with participants if the facilitator loses internet connection.

4. Provide feedback after the event.

A reliable internet connection is essential, along with the confidence to step in and engage with a virtual room of up to 10 participants if the facilitator happens to drop off.
