Circular Economy Industry Roundtable Discussion

Volunteer Role: Roundtable Facilitator

Responsibilities:

Facilitators will lead a breakout room focused on a topic they propose—something they’re both passionate about and knowledgeable in within the circular economy space. The goal is to create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment where participants feel encouraged to contribute meaningfully. The facilitator should be closely connected to the circular economy industry, with relevant expertise and a role that reflects hands-on experience in the field. This is not a speaking role; while the facilitator is welcome to provide expertise, insights, and questions, the main role remains to activate the group and encourage a lively discussion involving all participants.

*Must be available for a 30-min facilitator training normally scheduled a week prior to the event. The facilitator should be closely connected to the circular economy industry and have public speaking experience.

The Virtual Event Team participates in the production of all VIRTUAL events. Virtual Events Team members work directly with the Event Operations Coordinator.


We host a wide array of virtual events including (but not limited to) workshops, educational panels, and happy hours. Delivering both high-volume and high-caliber events creates many opportunities for people to benefit from WCS and our community. Our events engage volunteers, attendees, speakers, sponsors, and co-hosts alike. Whether you are job hunting, looking to grow your personal network, gain new skills, transition into cleantech, or just give back to your community — the Virtual Events Team has programming to help you achieve your goals.  


If you are interested in applying to join the Virtual Events Team, click Respond. If you are applying to volunteer with WCS for the first time, you must complete an intake interview. Shortly after submitting your interest, you will receive an email with an invitation to schedule your interview.
