The hub of all WCS local chapters, the WCS Chapter Committee supports existing chapters and develops new local chapters to expand opportunities for women to participate and benefit in their local communities.

There are three types of roles on the committee:


Co-Chairs, who lead the committee and also serve on the WCS Board of Directors

Vice Chairs, who are dedicated to the committee

Committee Members, who are dedicated to the committee


Commitment

Hours per week

5 hours per week for Co-Chairs and Vice Chairs

The Entrepreneurship Committee produces activities and resources to encourage and support founders, inventors, and anyone who aspires to drive cleantech solutions to market.

There are three types of roles on the committee:

Co-Chairs, who lead the committee and also serve on the WCS Board of Directors

Vice Chairs, who are dedicated to the committee

Committee Members, who are dedicated to the committee


Commitment

Hours per week

5 hours per week for Co-Chairs and Vice Chairs

Up to 2 hours per week for Committee Members

Ability to attend regular committee meetings

Ability to fulfill on commitments as a team player

Term length 

2 years for Co-Chairs 

1 year for Vice Chairs and Committee Members


Qualifications - Vice Chairs

At least 5 years of professional experience

Developed communication and leadership skills 

Ready to step into a leadership role on a committee

Excellent project management skills


Qualifications - Committee Members

Team player extraordinaire!

Ready to join a team and serve on a committee

Excellent time management skills

Ability to complete projects in a timely manner while working with a virtual team
