The WCS Board of Directors is the governing body of volunteers responsible for providing strategic direction, oversight, and accountability to ensure the organization fulfills its mission and operates ethically and effectively. Board members raise funds and oversee the WCS Organizational Committees, WCS Chapters, and WCS Special Events to achieve the WCS mission and objectives. Board roles include:

Hours per week: 5
Term length: 2 years
Qualifications
At least 8 years of professional experience
Demonstrated history in sales and/or fundraising
Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
Ready to co-lead a WCS Organizational Committee
High caliber network
Requirements
Fundraising minimum of $2,500 annually
Attend quarterly board meetings, quarterly leadership meetings, and committee meetings (virtual)
$100 board dues paid in January during each year of board service
